With its sleek design, the wall plate mountable Cisco Business 145AC Dual-Band Access Point enhances your small business with smooth and reliable wireless network connections for in-room or office environments where both wired and wireless devices are used. This compact 802.11ac Wave 2 access point is made to take advantage of in-wall network cabling without drawing attention and delivering data transfer rates of up to 1167 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. The 145AC's Gigabit Ethernet uplink port supports 802.3af/at power over Ethernet, allowing you to transfer both data and power over a single cable when connected to a compatible switch. Alternatively, you can power the device with a separately purchased PoE injector. It also includes three Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, one of which provides passive 802.3af PoE when the access point is connected to an 802.3at power source. One RJ45 passthrough port is located on the back to bottom.

Up to 50 (25 recommended) access points can be used to create a mesh network that operate using a single network ID (SSID) and password. Each 145AC access point also supports up to 25 Cisco Business mesh extenders to maximize coverage, providing users with smooth experiences as they browse the internet, watch videos, and more while moving from one location to another.

Strong Connections

With its powerful internal antennas and support for 2x2 MU-MIMO technology, the Cisco Business 145AC can communicate with multiple devices simultaneously, transferring up to 867 Mb/s over the 5 GHz frequency and 300 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band. Each access point can also handle up to 400 clients with up to 1000 clients in a system.

Gigabit Ethernet Ports

Integrate the 145AC into your network through the PoE-compatible Gigabit Ethernet uplink port. Three Gigabit LAN ports are also available for wired devices such as computers and smart TVs. You can operate passive PoE devices such as security cameras, IP phones, and more through the PoE out port when the access point is connected to an 802.11at power source. Additionally, there is a passive RJ45 passthrough port.

Security

Your wireless network is protected by WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 encryption. Other security features include RADIUS authentication, support for up to 16 VLANs, and guest network logins.

Cisco Business App

With the Cisco Business mobile app for Android and iOS, you can quickly expand your network by adding new mesh extenders and devices. You can also use the app to monitor network usage, traffic patterns, and network throughput to help ensure optimal user experiences.
